The CleanTech Alliance is a private sector-led, not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Prince Edward Island’s cleantech sector.
The CleanTech Alliance serves as the coordinating body for the province’s first cleantech cluster. With the support of the governments of Canada and Prince Edward Island we bring together businesses, researchers, investors, and government partners to build a thriving innovation ecosystem. By aligning expertise, resources, and market opportunities, we aim to position PEI as a leader in clean technology development, commercialization, and investment attraction.
At its core, the Alliance is driven by collaboration, agility, and impact. Acting as a catalyst, it will connect entrepreneurs with the expertise, funding, and infrastructure needed to scale their innovations. By fostering an environment where bold ideas become market-ready solutions, the CleanTech Alliance will work in support of shaping the future of cleantech on Prince Edward Island -- and beyond.
Purpose
Adopting an economic cluster model, the CleanTech Alliance is an industry-led organization that facilitates the development of businesses, academic and research institutions, investors, and government partners committed to increasing the economic impact of the cleantech sector in Prince Edward Island.
Priorities
- Create a vibrant cleantech innovation ecosystem, facilitating collaboration, connectivity and communication amongst cleantech entrepreneurs and key partners.
- Implement the Cleantech Strategy and operational plan for the PEI Cleantech Cluster.
- Support the attraction of high-potential cleantech companies and investment opportunities with strong commercial viability.
- Incubate and accelerate cleantech ventures and entrepreneurial activity.
